This was actually my first afghan ever. Knitted with needles # 15US and thick yarn, it is warm, soft and stretchy, 42″x57″ .

The pattern is an old one that I invented after seeing Kaffe Fassett work and after traveling in north India. Here it is done in intarsia (again a version for beginners), and what took a long time was actually choosing the colors. I hope to make another (smaller) version of it in stranding.
